1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description:

We are hiring 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse package handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. With an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, this part-time position offers a starting wage of $21.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders accurately.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform warehouse cleaning duties and inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety standards.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and standing for extended periods.
