Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the Aldi team in a full-time position. As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards. Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Organize and relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
- Load and unload shipments strategically.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
- Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
- Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
- Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
- Strong communication and basic arithmetic skills.
- Able to lift up to 45 pounds and operate industrial equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
