1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the Aldi team. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, while ensuring warehouse safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect and report product quality and safety concerns.
• Assist in achieving budget goals.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment safely.
