Building Based Educator

Job Description

We are looking for Building Based Educators (BBEs) to join our team at Match Education. As a Building Based Educator, you will have the opportunity to substitute in classes and provide support to students at Match Charter Public School. This position serves as a valuable entry point into the education field and can lead to future teaching or school-based roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction or support across various grade levels and subjects as a substitute for teachers and school personnel.
• Assist with school programming and student supervision as required during non-instructional periods.
• Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students, offering ample support to help students succeed.
• Engage actively in professional development and coaching programs provided by Match Education.
• Contribute positively and collaborate with the Match Charter Public School community.

Requirements

• Prior experience in an educational setting is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Location and Compensation

We have openings at all three Match campuses in Boston, with working hours from 7am to 4:30pm. Compensation starts at $24.99 per hour and may be higher based on relevant experience.
