Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians at Centria Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of children with autism by implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will utilize evidence-based techniques to teach vital skills and reduce interfering behaviors, promoting the overall development of the children.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism.
- Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Collect data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with the BCBA to ensure effective program implementation.
Requirements
- Passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to thrive in a team environment.
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and pass a background check.
- Physical ability to handle various positions, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
