We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join Centria Autism as Center-Based Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of children with autism by working one-on-one with them under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your tasks will include implementing individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

This position requires passion, patience, and compassion towards helping children with autism achieve their full potential. It involves teamwork, comprehensive training provided on-site, and the ability to work with mobile children. Responsibilities

  • Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Reducing interfering behaviors.
  • Working one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.

Requirements

  • Passion for helping children with autism.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Physical capability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
