Job Description

The Child Care Team Lead (CCTL) at VASA Fitness is responsible for cultivating a high-performing team focused on caring for and ensuring the safety and entertainment of the children of our members and guests. This role also involves maintaining a clean and well-maintained KidCare area.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Support staffing and training by forecasting upcoming staffing needs, conducting interviews, scheduling and facilitating training for new Child Care Attendants (CCA), and creating a welcoming environment for candidates and new hires.
  • Uphold KidCare standards by ensuring everyone feels welcome, driving policy execution, managing operating costs, and ensuring the safety of mini members.
  • Implement fun and entertaining programming and flawless playbook execution to ensure an enjoyable experience for the mini-members.
  • Ensure the safety of mini-members by proper check-in and check-out procedures, hourly safety scans, and maintaining a sparkling clean and well-maintained KidCare area.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a high-performing team by establishing a culture that adheres to core values and drives accountability, as well as attracting, hiring, coaching, and maximizing the engagement of the operations team.
  • Coach and support ongoing team member development by providing coaching, building trust and strong relationships with all team members, and providing input and feedback to aid in succession planning conversations.
