Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR to join Anderson Insurance Associates, Inc. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production, support, and retention of commercial lines accounts. Your responsibilities will include:

• Securing and submitting necessary renewal underwriting information.
• Renewing coverage, remarketing/rewriting existing accounts.
• Quoting and proposing expansion or new business opportunities.
• Handling customer-requested changes, cancellations, and related requests efficiently.
• Processing Certificates of Insurance.
• Managing claims information and facilitating claims with companies.
• Advising clients on coverage options, resolving issues, and documenting all communication effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar independent agency role with underwriting and rating experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Client-centered, team player mentality.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and insurance management systems.
• Knowledge of Applied Epic or similar insurance account management software is preferred.
• High School diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred; insurance designations (CIC, CISR, etc.) a plus.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license is a must.
