CT Technologist Full Time

Job Description

We are currently seeking a CT Technologist to join Corewell Health as a full-time team member. The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic CT exams under general supervision, following established policies and procedures to ensure the best possible images for interpretation. The role requires providing excellent patient care, applying radiation protection principles, and contributing to Corewell Health's Patient and Family Centered Care approach.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and physician order.
• Provide procedural information/education to patients and families.
• Perform CT exams using age-appropriate methods.
• Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently and perform quality control testing.
• Monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and proper stocking of exam rooms.
• Use hospital computer systems effectively for order verification and information sharing.
• Participate in effective inter/intra-departmental communication.

Requirements

• Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification by ARRT required, additional CT certification within 1 year of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
