Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a full-time CT Technologist to join our dedicated team at the Wayne Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation, and following radiation protection principles. You will play a crucial role in our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and provide procedural information to patients and families.
- Perform CT procedures, including IV placements for contrast media.
- Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff and maintain a clean and organized exam room.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification required within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
Location and Schedule
This position is full-time, with evening shifts from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Candidates should be willing to work variable days and every other weekend.
