Job Description
Join Corewell Health as a CT Technologist on a Full-Time Midnight shift. As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams following established policies and procedures. Your role will involve providing excellent patient care, ensuring radiation protection principles, and maintaining a patient and family-centered care approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
- Verify patient identification, provide patient education, and document accurate patient history.
- Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff and maintain effective communication within the department.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
Location and Shift Details
- Location: Farmington Hills Hospital.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Shift: Night shift (11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.).
- Days Worked: Variable, Weekend Frequency: Every other weekend.
