Delivery Driver - CDL

Job Description

By The Yard Inc is currently looking for a Delivery Driver with a CDL to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting furniture to residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with products and supplies.
• Deliver furniture to customers following designated routes.
• Track orders using electronic logs and ensure accuracy of deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions.
• Perform minor repairs and assembly at customer locations.
• Collaborate with other departments on assignments as needed.
• Maintain a clean driving record and report any incidents promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with power and hand tools.
• Ability to follow directions and provide excellent customer service.
• Positive attitude and willingness to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a Delivery Driver.

Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, walk, handle objects, lift heavy items, and have specific vision abilities.
