DEPUTY SHERIFF - PATROL

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Sheriff - Patrol to join Clear Creek County, Colorado. Reporting to Patrol Sergeants and/or Captain, you will perform a variety of law enforcement and non-law enforcement duties to ensure public safety and order. This role involves responding to emergency calls, conducting investigations, enforcing laws, and testifying in court proceedings. The position requires Colorado POST Certification, handling of stressful situations, and proficiency in various law enforcement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Enforce County, State, and Federal laws.
• Conduct investigations, make arrests, and document incidents.
• Provide traffic enforcement and perform routine patrols.
• Operate law enforcement equipment and assist in various situations such as search and rescue operations and crime scene investigations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of law enforcement experience.
• Colorado POST Certification.
• Proficiency in communication, decision-making, and handling emergencies.
• Valid Colorado driver's license and CPR/first aid certification.
