Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at First Student. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure safety and vehicle readiness. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and DOT maintenance inspections.
- Diagnose and repair various vehicle components including brakes, suspensions, and transmissions.
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders and provide assistance with emergency services.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain CDL.
- Minimum 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or technical school education.
- Mechanic's toolset and willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical requirements.
