Job Description

The Fitness Studio Team Lead at VASA Fitness is a key leadership position responsible for creating an 'UPLIFT' VASA experience by offering an inclusive, accessible, and on-trend fitness experience, maximizing STUDIO and Group Fitness usage. You will build and maintain class schedules, actively recruit talent, and ensure exceptional experiences for members and guests through high-energy classes that motivate, uplift, and create community.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and Staffing: Actively recruits talent via VASA employees, members, and local community. Responsible for recruiting top talent, filling product trainings, and new program offerings.
• Achieving Results, Maximizing STUDIO/Group Fitness Usage: Drives performance to achieve or exceed all financial targets and KPIs. Proactively identifies instructor/scheduling problems and provides solutions to drive business forward.
• Deliver A World-Class Member Experience: Ensures equipment and technology are reported for repair, spaces are clean and safe, and all programming is executed flawlessly. Conducts instructor evaluations and provides feedback and coaching for continued development.
• Trains, Coaches and Supports Ongoing Instructor Development: Leads by example, builds trust and strong relationships with team members, conducts quarterly trainings, and facilitates practice sessions for continued refinement and skill development.
• Delivers Care and Creates Connection: Ensures high energy classes that motivate, uplift, and create community. Works with GM to address member and guest concerns and establishes a culture within the team that drives accountability.
