Food Expeditor - Prior experience as a Food Runner or Server is a plus but not required

Job Description

We are looking for a Food Expeditor (GOTO) to join our team at Silver Diner Development, LLC. As a key member of our front of house staff, the Food Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by supporting servers and ensuring the accuracy and speed of orders.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as part of a team, facilitating communication between front of house and heart of house associates.
• Support servers by garnishing plates, ensuring order accuracy, organizing orders, and coordinating timely delivery to guests.
• Maintain a positive attitude, adhere to uniform standards, and uphold brand delivery according to Silver Diner specifications.
• Demonstrate cost balancing by understanding menu item specifications, organizing workflow, and assisting in other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the restaurant industry preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays, lift at least 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Passion for providing exceptional guest service and maintaining product quality.
