Job Description

KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE) is looking for a Highway Design Engineer to join our team. As a mid-size engineering and construction management firm, we offer a dynamic work environment and exciting projects to work on. The Highway Design Engineer will be responsible for working on detailed design of roadway and highway projects, including curb, ramps, sidewalks, and driveways. The role involves technical responsibilities such as design development, cost estimates, and software proficiency, along with administrative tasks to ensure project compliance.

Responsibilities

• Work on detailed design of roadway and highway projects.
• Participate in the development of plans and specifications.
• Perform accurate calculations and cross-checks.
• Stay current with design criteria and technology.
• Complete administrative tasks for project compliance.

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• 5-15 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation/Inroads/Open Roads, AUTOCAD, Bluebeam, MS Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• PE License preferred.
