Job Description
Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hotel's power plant, boilers, chillers, air compressors, and related equipment. The role involves maintaining HVAC systems, conducting preventive maintenance, and making repairs as necessary to guarantee a comfortable environment for guests.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to the hotel's air conditioning system.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment including boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Take required readings on equipment and test cooling towers.
- Monitor and maintain Life Safety systems to comply with local fire codes.
- Follow manufacturer's guidelines for preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; trade school or college coursework helpful.
- At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and effectively communicate with employees and guests.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, plumbing, electricity, and use of hand tools.
- Ability to perform duties within extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
