Team One Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Auditor. We are looking for an objective Internal Auditor to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting rules and procedures and demonstrate sound judgment.

As a full-time Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in strengthening the organization by bringing awareness to deficiencies and providing recommendations for change to address applicable risks and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management.
• Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans for approval.
• Obtaining, analyzing, and evaluating accounting documentation and reports.
• Preparing and presenting audit findings and formulating solutions.
• Acting as an objective source of independent advice for management.
• Identifying loopholes, recommending risk aversion measures and cost savings.
• Maintaining open communication with management and performing special audits.
• Serving as a resource for external auditors and regulators.
• Reviewing fraud prevention controls, assisting in policy implementation, and conducting branch audits.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of previous auditing experience.
• Strong understanding of auditing principles and excellent analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
