Kentucky Medication Aide

Job Description

Calumet Trace Senior Living is looking for a Kentucky Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for safely administering medications and treatments to residents, ensuring accurate documentation and providing compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following protocol.
• Document medication administration accurately.
• Notify supervision of any resident condition changes.
• Assist with medication records and re-ordering.
• Maintain organization of the medication room and cart.
• Assist with various medical equipment as directed.
• Take vital signs and weights accurately.
• Complete incident reports and notify appropriate parties.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Experience or willingness to work with the elderly.
• Proficiency in English preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Pass a criminal background check.
