Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA.
- Current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the applicable state.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT in accordance with state practice guidelines.
- Assist in patient identification and referral for appropriate rehabilitation.
- Document patient progress accurately and adhere to documentation requirements.
- Ensure all necessary MD orders are obtained for treatments and certifications.
