LSRT PRN - Urgent Care

Job Description

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking an outstanding LSRT to join our urgent care team. As a Physician-led network committed to expanding access to quality healthcare, our primary goal is to ensure the health and wellness of our members and their families. The LSRT/MA is responsible for providing patient care, including all medical assistant duties, as well as performing X-rays, ensuring customer flow and satisfaction is optimized, and maintaining daily quality control functions.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient chief complaint and vital signs prior to them being seen by a provider.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Perform lab tests, EKGs, X-Rays, and other functions as directed by the provider on duty.
• Ensure customer flow and satisfaction is optimized.
• Assure all back office and X-ray systems are functioning properly.

Requirements

• LSRT certification and Medical Assistant training.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar job function.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of radiography and medical assisting.
• Ability to prioritize, evaluate, and make recommendations for continuous quality improvement.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing.
