Job Description
The Holiday Inn Express Norman is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment within the hotel facilities, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks in guest rooms, including but not limited to, light bulb replacements, vinyl repair, touch-up paint, and minor furniture repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on various equipment such as ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, swimming pool, and hot tub.
- Handle plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, exhaust fan upkeep, and energy conservation monitoring.
- Respond promptly to alarms, determine the cause and location, assess emergency status, and report findings to the Front Desk.
- Complete any other assigned tasks by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Trade licensure in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, or related fields is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state is mandatory.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record specific to the property is required.
