Job Description

We are looking for a talented Manager of Finance to join Gastroenterology Associates of the Piedmont. As the Manager of Finance & Ancillary Services, you will collaborate with the CEO and practice leadership to oversee the financial performance of the practice and provide financial monitoring of ancillary services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial goals, plans, and standards in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Liaise with executive leadership, management, accounting firms, and regulatory agencies on financial matters.
  • Lead financial analysis for strategic initiatives, emphasizing ancillary revenue streams and capital investments.
  • Manage financial activities, generate Key Performance Indicators, and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
  • Direct accounting, budgeting, and audit controls to minimize risk and ensure compliance with government regulations.

Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software programs, Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in AR/AP/payroll, Epic (a plus), and familiarity with Crystal reports and SQL queries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Ten years or more of related experience required; healthcare experience highly desired.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and travel as needed.
