SALARY: Base rate of $14.00 per hour, plus $2-4 per hour commission eligibility for memberships and personal training sales

PURPOSE

The Member Experience Specialist is responsible for delivering a fun and meaningful experience to VASA Fitness members and guests. This includes greeting members in a friendly manner, creating personal connections, ensuring timely problem reporting, organizing equipment, and maintaining cleanliness. Responsibilities also involve creating a great first impression of VASA Fitness, selling memberships, driving upgrades, and touring guests and members around the gym.

Operational Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a genuine, kind attitude when interacting with Guests and Members.
• Greet guests and members with a smile, eye contact, and courteous tone.
• Provide clear direction, accurate information, and support through tools and technology.
• Be familiar with membership plans, pricing, amenities, and add-on options.
• Provide club tours, sell memberships, help members upgrade, and book personal training consultations.
• Share member feedback with leadership and implement ideas to improve the guest and member experience.

Upholds VASA Operational Standards

• Execute daily responsibilities to VASA's high standards, following check-in processes and procedures, completing daily cleaning, restocking merchandise, and processing sales.
