Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer to join Zillow Home Loans, a rapidly growing origination team. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will originate mortgage loans, provide exceptional customer service, and build relationships with customers and partners. You will analyze clients' needs, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with team members to share best practices. This role offers a competitive base pay, incentive compensation, and equity awards.
Responsibilities
- Originate mortgage loans and provide exceptional customer service.
- Establish and build relationships with customers and partners.
- Analyze clients' needs to ensure compliance and maximum customer satisfaction.
- Consult with borrowers from inquiry to close, including securing necessary documentation.
- Understand and comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of available loan programs and collaboratively work with fulfillment partners.
- Share best practices with team members and perform assigned duties.
Requirements
- Active NMLS Loan Originator with multiple state licenses.
- 20-hr SAFE Pre-licensing Education completion and passing the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test - National Component.
- 1+ years of mortgage sales experience, 2+ years of sales/customer service preferred.
- Associates or Bachelors degree, financial/business background preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products and excellent communication skills.
- Passionate about client relationships, consultative selling, and motivated by uncapped income potential.
- Highly motivated, energetic, positive team player with excellent organization skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Employees must live within 75 miles from Irving, TX branch location.
