Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position in the Emergency Room at Grace Medical Center offers day and night shifts with varying hours. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients following the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to ensure quality care.
- Maintain clinical knowledge and skills competency.
- Create a safe patient care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of Nursing Experience in Emergency Services preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- PALS and Hazmat certifications within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
Unit Details
The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center is equipped with advanced technology and amenities for emergency care, featuring private treatment rooms, a behavioral health treatment pod, and a CT Scanner for early diagnosis of conditions. Safety measures including negative pressure rooms for infectious diseases are in place to ensure patient well-being.
