Operations Director

Job Description

Anderson Dahlen is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to lead our operations team across multiple sites. In this key role, you will drive the production plan's execution while ensuring the optimal utilization of resources to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and identify areas for enhancement.
• Accountable for overall operational performance including safety, quality, and productivity.
• Develop strategies to meet critical business goals efficiently.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Establish departmental policies, procedures, and disciplines to drive consistency.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and goal setting.
• Lead by example in fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Allocate resources based on business priorities and approve budget allocations.
• Build and motivate high-performing teams through coaching and development.
• Work cross-functionally to support company objectives and resolve challenges.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with some prior management experience.
• Experience in food & beverage, industrial, pharmaceutical, or vacuum manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Strong team-building, decision-making, and people management skills.

Physical Requirements

This position operates primarily in an office environment involving computer work.
