Product Development Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer to join Dometic Marine, responsible for developing mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions for the marine market. The ideal candidate will work with design engineering to create cost-effective, robust, and manufacturable solutions while coordinating vendors and outside contractors in tool development and assembly processes. This role involves conducting analysis to reduce risk in end item assembly processes, developing process flow maps to enhance efficiency, and implementing changes to improve production standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in marine or vehicle controls markets preferred.
• Specialized skills in solid modeling software, 2-D modeling software, geometric dimensioning, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of rapid prototyping, electro-mechanical sensors, and FMEA techniques.
• Project management experience and proficiency in office software.
