Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis during afternoons. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in various radiology areas while adhering to established policies and procedures. Your role will play a critical part in providing high-quality images for interpretation and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with attention to patient identification and physician orders.
- Monitor patients during procedures to guarantee safety.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment effectively and address any malfunctions promptly.
- Provide patient education and procedural information.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain departmental efficiency and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with radiation protection principles.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
