Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis during afternoons. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology while upholding Corewell Health's commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Acquire and document accurate patient history in medical records.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures and utilize age-appropriate methods.
- Effectively communicate with various departments and individuals.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control protocols.
- Provide patient education and procedural information when necessary.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
Working Conditions
- Physical demands include lifting and maneuvering objects, coordination, and standing for extended periods.
- Exposure to ionizing radiation and potential hazardous materials.
