Registered Nurse Float (Inpatient)

Job Description

We are hiring a Registered Nurse Float (Inpatient) to join our team at Denver Health. As a Float RN, you will rotate through all in-patient areas and the Emergency Department, providing high-quality patient care following DH floating guidelines. This role requires flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends, adhering to professional nursing standards to ensure excellence in healthcare consumer safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual, family, and community health needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and monitor vital signs.
• Develop and modify patient care plans based on assessments.
• Prepare patients for medical procedures and provide treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.
• Instruct individuals and families on health education and disease prevention.
• Administer nursing care and medications.
• Promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Less than 1 year of experience, with direct patient care experience preferred.
• BLS and RN licenses required.
• Proficiency in medical equipment use, effective communication, and Microsoft Office Suite.
