Job Description
The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. With a focus on excellence, our team performs 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries annually in a state-of-the-art facility, featuring 11 rooms and 2 operating rooms.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to laboring mothers and their newborns.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow established protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to uphold the highest standards of nursing practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or in the process of obtaining one.
- Valid RN license in the state of Vermont.
- Previous experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
