Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Denver Health, specifically for the 3B Flex/Progressive Care Unit, working NIGHTS. As a crucial part of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care and support to patients on a progressive care unit, handling various specialty services including post interventional cardiology, surgery, trauma, medicine, neurology, and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify health or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor patient conditions.
• Develop care plans and modify treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care.
• Administer medications, provide patient education, and promote positive patient experiences.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Less than 1 year of experience; direct patient care experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification and RN licensure required.
• Proficient in medical equipment use, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in emergency situations and maintain professionalism.
