Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Denver Health. In this role, you will work in the Correctional Care Med Fac CCMF, a unit that provides compassionate care to a diverse patient population, including those with acute trauma, chronic diseases, and more. As part of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, maintaining detailed records, monitoring patient condition, and providing direct care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports.
- Monitor and record symptoms and changes in patient condition.
- Modify patient treatment plans as necessary.
- Develop and modify patient care plans.
- Prepare and assist with examinations and treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate patient care.
- Administer nursing care and medication.
- Promote a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Less than 1 year of experience (1 year preferred).
- BLS and RN licenses required.
- Knowledge of professional nursing practices and patient care.
- Ability to use medical equipment and instruments effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
