Job Description

Great Falls Clinic Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care unit. As an RN in Progressive Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on the medical/surgical unit. This role involves delivering comprehensive physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support to patients with various medical conditions and post-surgical needs. In addition to direct patient care, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care delivery, assist with staff precepting, and contribute to the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care and support to a diverse population including pediatrics, post-surgical patients, and those with cardiac, respiratory, and critical care conditions.
  • Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, such as central lines, chest tubes, and arterial lines.
  • Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and monitor for any signs of deterioration, providing timely interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, coordinate patient care activities, and maintain professional standards in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Degree from a Nursing Program.
  • Experience in a Medical/Surgical or Critical Care setting.
  • Current State of Montana RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS certification, or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
  • Proficiency in operating advanced medical equipment and interpreting cardiac telemetry.
