Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a RN Registered Nurse Outpatient-Surgical Specialty Clinics to join our team at Denver Health. In this role, you will provide patient care and education in an outpatient setting, collaborating with diverse patients, families, and community members throughout the lifespan. Adhering to professional nursing standards and practices, you will work with the healthcare team to ensure excellence in consumer safety and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based plans and develop patient care and treatment plans.
- Conduct nursing assessments, identify health problems, and communicate findings with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with patients and the healthcare team to establish measurable goals and strategies for patient care.
- Supervise and educate other clinic team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain detailed patient records, prepare patients for examinations, and assist with treatments.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- 1-3 years of experience in direct patient care.
- Current BLS and RN licenses required.
- Proficiency in medical equipment use and patient care administration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC documentation preferred.
