Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. As the Senior Development Officer, you will collaborate with program teams to cultivate, solicit, and steward funders, focusing on corporate, foundation, government, and individual donors. Your role will involve devising fundraising strategies, creating customized proposals, and building relationships to support our mission of making affordable housing available nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to inform fundraising strategy.
  • Work with program staff to articulate programming and develop case statements for funders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create customized fundraising strategies.
  • Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
  • Organize meetings, events, and tours with funders; prepare materials and conduct follow-ups.
  • Write and submit proposals, concept papers, and impact reports.
  • Create customized funder proposals and recognition opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate funder records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
  • Track record of securing 6-figure gifts.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Basic design skills for collateral materials.
  • Ability to synthesize information for grant proposals and reports.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and collaborative mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
