Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about practical cryptography, open source, and building secure software solutions, this role is for you. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for owning the complete software development lifecycle, delivering secure encryption tools, and supporting cryptographic libraries for global use.
Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, design, test, and implement new features for AWS Cryptography.
- Operate globally distributed servers and customers.
- Develop foundational libraries in C and Rust for highly secure AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficient in at least one software programming language.
- Experience in system design, architecture, and leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
