Senior Software Development Engineer - AWS Cryptography , C3P

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is a full-time position focused on implementing cryptography solutions at scale to ensure the security of millions of customers' data in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including defining, prioritizing, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
• Operate and support globally distributed servers and customers within AWS.
• Develop reliable foundational libraries using C and Rust for secure services.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in leading design or architecture of new systems.
• Ability to mentor, lead, or manage engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of coding standards, code reviews, and testing processes.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
