Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about cryptography, security, and delivering secure software solutions, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining secure, open-source encryption tools and libraries for AWS customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Design and implement new features to enhance the security of our services.
- Develop foundational libraries using C and Rust for maximum security.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and security specialists to deliver cryptographic solutions for global customers.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Expertise in system design, reliability, and scaling.
- Prior leadership experience in software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the full software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
