Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer - AWS Cryptography to join the PAL team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the team, you will contribute to building secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data for AWS customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and security experts to ensure the delivery and support of cryptographic tools and libraries.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Leadership experience in system design or architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
