Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This role offers the exciting opportunity to contribute to open-source projects and work on implementing cutting-edge cryptography solutions at scale to enhance the security of millions of customers' data.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including defining, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and support internal and external customers.
- Develop secure and reliable foundational libraries using C and Rust.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language and leading design of new systems.
- Previous mentorship or tech leadership in an engineering environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
