Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. Your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing secure and user-friendly encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data both in and out of the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including defining, prioritizing, designing, and testing new features.
- Operate on a global scale with distributed servers and customers.
- Build foundational libraries using C and Rust for secure AWS services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience leading design or architecture of systems.
- Passion for delivering secure software solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
