Job Description
Are you passionate about open source and interested in implementing cryptography at scale? Join Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. as a Senior Software Development Engineer in the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team. In this role, you will contribute to building secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to help AWS customers protect their sensitive data.
Responsibilities
- Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, designing and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and customers for AWS business.
- Develop foundational libraries in C and Rust to enhance the security of AWS services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of systems.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
- Strong knowledge of encryption, cryptography, and security.
