Senior Software Development Engineer - AWS Cryptography , C3P

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects related to implementing cryptography at scale and ensuring the security of millions of customer data. As a part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will contribute to building and maintaining secure, open source encryption tools and libraries, enabling customers to protect their sensitive data in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
• Operate globally distributed servers and customers for AWS.
• Develop foundational libraries using C and Rust for highly secure services within AWS.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages with experience in design and architecture of new systems.
• Previous experience as a mentor or leading engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent preferred.
