General Summary: Corewell Health is seeking a Senior Special Procedure Tech to provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. The role involves assisting physicians and delivering quality patient/family centered care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during routine invasive procedures.
• Provide intra-procedural technical support.
• Perform hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms and calculations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients.
• Maintain radiation safety standards.
• Required to take On Call per department schedule.
• Provide training to less experienced techs.
• 1st assist physicians using sterile technique.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques.
• Participate in device implants and other advanced procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program or equivalent.
• More than 3 years of Interventional experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications.
• Basic computer skills and exceptional communication abilities.

Shift: Day, Monday to Friday

Hours: 7 am to 7:30 pm

Weekend Frequency: On-call weekends
