Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health's team. In this role, you will provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and ensuring quality patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients, performing IV starts, documenting procedures, and providing patient/family education.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic calculations and wave forms.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, physicians, and patients.
- Ensure quality assurance of technical equipment and maintain radiation safety standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography or Cardiovascular Technologist program.
- More than 3 years of Interventional experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and specialized certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
