1. Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of alternative investment fund tax clients, including private equity and real estate funds.
2. Provide strategic tax planning and compliance advice to clients, ensuring that all tax obligations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
4. Stay abreast of current tax laws and regulations, and inform clients of any changes that may impact their tax obligations.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and becoming a trusted advisor.
6. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure a holistic approach to client service.
7. Participate in business development activities, including networking events, presentations, and proposal development.
1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax role, with a focus on alternative investment fund tax.
3. Proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients in the private equity and real estate sectors.
4. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to alternative investment funds.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
6. Strong business development skills, with a proven ability to network and build relationships with clients and potential clients.
7. Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic tax planning advice to clients.
9. High level of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
10. Proficient in tax software and other relevant technology.
