Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Residential Youth Counselor to join Mount Prospect Academy in Pike, NH. As a Youth Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to at-risk youth, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for them to thrive. Your responsibilities will include mentoring students, implementing social/recreational activities, delivering direct services, refining social and interpersonal skills, and more. Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor students, providing crisis management and psychosocial education.
• Implement social/recreational activities and involve residents in programming.
• Deliver direct services including daily living skills, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
• Refine students' social and interpersonal skills through positive relationships.
• Be a positive role model, providing emotional stability and crisis support.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience working with children.
• Valid driver's license preferred & 21+ years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States with background checks completion.
